This is a place of camping for the pilgrimage, When tourists or pilgrimages come here for enjoying holidays and for the Amarnath yatra drshan then they take stay at Baltal. By the trip tourist or pilgrimages enjoy also the born fire with their camping that gives the peace of mind. In the next morning they again start their trip from Baltal.

Best time to visit Amarnath

Pilgrimage can’t be able to visit Amarnath at full year because here’s temperature always in low and ice that’s why for the Amarnath drshan pilgrimage medical health check up is compulsory. Amarnath yatra only happened in the month of July and August because in this month temperature is normal for the drshan.

How to reach Amarnath

Srinagar to Sonamarg: We Will pick you from the Srinagar by the cab or tempo traveler and take you for the Sonamarg. The distance between the Sonamarg and Srinagar is only 80km that cover in 2 hours 30 min. After reaching Sonamarg you will take dinner at hotel and spend your night here

Sonamarg to Baltal: In the morning after the breakfast we take to you for the Amarnath Darshan, this is 30 km distance to each other. After the drshan of Amarnath you will stay night at Baltal in the camp.

Baltal to Sonamarg: In morning after the breakfast you will return to Sonamarg from the Baltal with covering the sightseeing of Baltal and Sonamarg. In the Sonamarag you will stay at hotel.

Sonamarg to Srinagar: This is last morning of Amarnath trip, we will drop you to Srinagar from the Sonamarg..

Gangotri to Uttarkashi: It is a spectacular feeling waking up in Gangotri. Explore around, see the stunning vistas before beginning your journey to Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi is about 95 kilometre away and you will cover the distance in about 4 hours. You can spend the night in Uttarkashi which is at an elevation of 5209 foot between the Ashi and Varuna Rivers.

Important points to be kept in mind before visiting to Amarnath

- Make an appropriate note of the opening and closing dates of the Amarnath yatra announced by the Jammu and Kashimr government every year.

- At most places you need to cover your head and of course take off your shoes. Since these are places of religious importance to Hindus, you need to show respect.

- Do not litter on your trip, and ensure you maintain the sanctity of remote locations kept at their pristine best.

- Medical Health Certificate is required for the Amarnath trip

- Come equipped with sunscreen lotion, bottles of water, sunglasses and hat as the sun can be quite harsh as you go up in the hills.

- You also need to carry your own medical kit complete with antiseptic creams, painkillers, medicines for fever and common cold, antibiotics and your other routine medicine.

- Carry energy-giving snacks like granola bars and other forms of snacks.

- Some places may not allow photography. So, do not take pictures when asked not to and protect the sentiments of the locals.

- Keep your camera and phones sufficiently charged, carry your powerbanks as some remote regions might not have regular electricity.
